Visiting The Salon post Covid-19

We continue to take advice from the Government and will amend our procedures where necessary.

prior to re-opening the salon, we have implemented a number of changes, here is what to expect on your visit to us….

Booking Appointments

Any bookings can then be made by calling the salon landline on 01912515175 or the salon mobile on  07845439873 and via our Fidgets Facebook messenger. (Not by email, Instagram or Twitter)

 Visiting the Salon

To limit the amount of people in the salon we ask that where possible only children who are having a haircut attend, along with one parent/guardian (depending on circumstances).

We ask that you attend your appointment as close to the appointment time as possible.

Please don’t arrive late for your appointment as we won’t be able to carry out the service and unfortunately you will incur a charge. We now have a strict 24 hour cancellation policy in place.

Please limit the number of belongings that you bring to the salon as you will have to keep hold of personal items such as bags, coats and shopping. We ask that you don’t consume food or drinks inside the salon- unless its a bottle of water/juice etc that you can take home with you.

When you arrive, we ask that you wait outside until a team member lets you in. This is to allow for cleaning after clients and social distancing in the salon.

Please use the hand sanitising station at reception as you enter, we have provided sanitisers for both adults and children.

Unfortunately, we are unable to have our usual selection of toys out, if your child likes to sit at the toy table and have their haircut, we are happy for you to bring some of your own toys along.

At the end of your appointment we remind you that due to social distancing, we are unable to allow the next appointment in until you leave – therefore we politely ask you to bare this in mind after you have made payment.

We will still be accepting both cash and card payments (card transactions are a minimum of £10.00)

Services we wont be offering until further notice include –  Parties and Packages (this will change when new government guidelines come in)


Our staff will be wearing personal protective equipment during your visit and service. This will include a visor and an apron.

We will be using both disposable cutting capes and material cutting capes (material capes will be laundered at 60 degrees).

We ask that parents/guardians wear a face mask or covering when attending the salon and where possible we ask that children aged 5 and above try to also wear one. This doesn’t apply to children and adults who have additional needs, disabilities or health conditions such as asthma.

Cleaning measures

We have allocated ourselves extra time between appointments, this is to allow for cleaning and sterilising measures in-between clients.

On top of our normal routine we are taking extra measures to ensure that all ipads, door handles, surfaces and seating areas are cleaned between services.

Our toilets will be in use for customers and a cleaning schedule will be in place.

Our Covid symptom procedure

If any of our staff feel ill or have symptoms of Covid-19 they will self-isolate and stay at home. This may mean we have to cancel your appointment at short notice, although this will be an inconvenience it is for everyone’s safety and we will of course try and rearrange your appointment immediately.

Likewise if you or any of the people that you live with feel ill or display any symptoms of Covid-19, please advise us as soon as possible so that we can rearrange your appointment and we ask that you do not come to the salon.
